Het was weer een groot feest om weer terug te zijn op de dragstrip santa pod raceway voor de Santa Pod European Finals 2014. Dit jaarlijks terugkerend evenement is de finale van het dragrace seizoen. Van junior dragsters tot en met
de koningsklasse de Top Fuel Dragster. Allemaal komen ze voor de grand final naar Santa Pod European Finals 2014 toe.
Eerder dit jaar van 23 t/m 26 Mei was ik ook bij het evenement European Championship – Round 1.
Net als in Round 1 was er op vrijdag tijdens de Santa Pod European Finals 2014 nitro night. Tijdens het invallen van de avond was er een kwalificatieronde voor de Top Fuel dragsters en nitro funny cars. Zodra het stoplicht op groen schiet vliegen de 8000+ pk dragsters met meters hoge vlammen naar de finish.

It was really great to be back at the drag strip at Santa Pod Raceway last weekend. This time for the Santa Pod European Finals. This annual spectacle is the main final of this year’s drag race season. They were all there, the junior dragsters up to the premier class the top fuel dragsters. All together for the grand finals at Santa Pod European Finals 2014.
Earlier this year, 23 to 26 May, I was over there too, for the European Championship round 1. On both occasions there was the Santa Pod European Finals 2014 Nitro Night.
During nightfall there were the qualifying sessions for Top fuel dragsters and Nitro funny cars. Once the lights came on green 8000+ bhp dragsters found their way to the finish with sky high flames .
